I was approached by a friend who wanted an anniversary gift for his wife for their
25th anniversary. The were married in Okinawa Japan, so I wanted a theme to commorate
that setting. Choosing a Tori Gate, it would symbolize their transition. Placing it in
lacewood gives the appearance of water, and using Japanese numerals for 25.
Woods used: Walnut, Lacewood, Wenge and others.
